Ișan, Vasile

Vasile Isan is professor at Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Jassy, Romania. Between 2008 and 2016 was rector of this institution, the oldest modern university in Romania. He teaches course on international trade at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration. His main areas of interest are international trade theory, international transactions and history of economic thought. In essence, he is a follower of the Austrian School of Economics. Prof. Ișan coordinates a collection of translations, including fundamental works of economic science, especially the most important books of Friedrich Ludwig von Mises and von Hayek.
