Waltenberger, Ingobert

received his doctorate in law from the University of Vienna. In 1984, he joined the Austrian Federal Ministry of Finance and held various positions in the fields of banking supervision, fiscal administration, public relations and communications. From 2000 on, he was Head of the Communications & Cultural Affairs unit in the Austrian Federal Ministry of Finance and spokesman of the Federal Minister of Finance. From 2006 to 2013 Dr Waltenberger served as Financial Attaché at the Austrian Embassy in Paris, as International Director of AEI (Austrian Agency of European Integration) and as member of the Austrian UNESCO delegation. Since 2013, Dr Waltenberger has been Financial Attaché at the Austrian Embassy in Berlin.
