Nikola Samardžić
Professor of early modern and contemporary history with UDG and University of Belgrade. Pro-EU, NATO and free market activist (since 1995). Fulbright scholar at New York University in 2003. Founder of the New Balkans Institute, research center particularly in urban and Jewish studies, and lobbyist team in domains of transitional laws, restitution and confronting the totalitarian past. Editor in chief of two scientific journals, LimesPlus and Acta Historiae Medicinae. Regular columnist with the Belgrade daily newspaper Danas.
